We are excited about the upcoming Freedom Forum in Accra, Ghana hosted by the Democratic Union of Africa (DUA) and the New Patriotic Party (NPP) 22-26 June 2016. In Accra, we will be joined by representatives from over fifteen other conservative and center-right parties from across Africa, as well as friends from around the world. Check out the program the NPP put together for our visit: IYDU Freedom Forum.
It is an important election year in Ghana and showing support for our freedom loving friends in the NPP at this critical time is paramount to IYDU’s mission. Unlike most countries in Africa, Ghana has peacefully changed governments through the ballot box since 2000. It is arguably the most democratically stable country in a region typically plagued by electoral disputes, undemocratic forces, and human rights violations. As such, Ghana has become a model and shining example for Africa and the world.
It is not too late to register and if you are interested in attending please fill out the registration form and return it to kai.jorgensen @ iydu-network.org and jason.emert @ iydu-network.org, then join our Facebook event for more updates.
The hotel for the event will be the M Plaza Hotel.
We hope you will be able to join us in Accra!
