#IYDUmunich – IYDU Executive Meeting in Munich, November 18th-21st

The International Young Democrat Union invites you to join us for the IYDU Executive Meeting in Munich, Germany. IYDU will be partnering with CSU & Junge Union Bayern as our hosts for this meeting.

Program details for Hanns Seidel Stiftung – Expert Discussion – Thursday 19th.

The IYDU meeting will be on the 18th-19th of November. CSU is also holding their annual CSU Party Congress on the 20th & 21st of November, giving IYDU members the opportunity to observe. Participants will be arriving on Wednesday 18th  of  November, and departing on Saturday 21st of November, or Sunday 22nd of November.

Program – The agenda will cover two days with IYDU Wednesday 18th of November and Thursday 19th of November, and events with CSU on Friday 20th of November and Saturday 21st of November. CSU is holding their annual CSU Party Congress on the 20th & 21st of November, giving IYDU members the opportunity to observe. The programme will include a series of briefings and discussions from high profile speakers about the best public policy approaches on issues most relevant to young people including the future of education, work and public services. IYDU will also launch its IYDU Women’s Network during the first two days of the program. Visas – For those of you that need a visa to travel to Germany, it is extremely important you apply for your visa immediately as there are often delays in Embassy processing times. Please make every effort to complete the visa application accurately and to include all the required information, proof of personal circumstances, whether that be a bank statement, marriage certificate, land title etc., to ensure that your attempt is successful. Check with your embassy if you have questions on this. For those who need an invite letter for their visa, fill out the registration form immediately, and email it to us at munich@iydu-network.org

Travel Arrangements – Each participant needs to cover their own travel, flights, and hotel. We suggest arriving in time for check in & registration, going on at the hotel until noon on Wednesday 19th of November, and leave no earlier than at the end of the program at 14:00 on Saturday 21st of November.

Hotel – The hotel for the event will be the Ibis Hotel. Their address is Ibis München City Arnulfpark, Arnulfstrasse 55, 80636 München. We have reserved a mix of single & double rooms. There’s a limited amount of rooms, so reserve your room quickly. A special rate for the rooms has been arranged.  Singe Room for 89 € per night w/breakfast. Double Room for 121 € per night w/breakfast. To book your room(s), please email   international.office@csu-bayern.de with subject: “Hotel IYDU Executive Munich 2015”.

Conference Language – A good level of spoken English is necessary to participate in this conference.
