Rio de Janeiro is one of the most interesting, influent, beautiful, and liveliest cities in the world. While Brazil is the largest, most populous, and the epicenter of the Latin American economy. Our goal is to have an agenda that covers a full two day programme – August 4th and 5th – with a vast array of speakers from politicians to industry experts discussing Latin American and Brazilian History, Culture, Society, Political System, and an overview of the Current Political and Economic Scenario.
Our host is Juventude Democratas (Democrats Youth), youth-wing of (Democratas) Democrats Party. Democrats Youth’s National President is Bruno Kazuhiro, who serves as IYDU Vice-Chairman. Additionally, Universidad Unión de Partidos Latinoamericanos (University UPLA) is going to be held in Petropolis, a city near Rio de Janeiro from July 28th and August 2nd. UPLA is the Latin American regional branch of IDU and University UPLA is an event that annually unites delegates from each UPLA party-member youth-wing to discuss Latin American politics by developing common strategies to strengthen democracy in the region. IYDU Delegates are welcome to travel to Brazil early to be a part of University UPLA. At the same time, UPLA Youth Delegates will have the opportunity to stay longer in Rio and participate in IYDU’s event.
If you have any questions at this time, feel free to email email@example.com. More details to follow.
Best Wishes from the entire IYDU Board.
The Young Republican National Federation (YRNF) is also hosting their biannual in conjunction with the IYDU event in Rio. Their event will take place from July 29th til August 2nd, which gives participants in Rio the possibility to attend both events.
The YRNF biannual will be held in Chicago, and features potential 2016 candidates, elections of the new YRNF board, sessions on important U.S. political issues, the ability for great networking, and a great international program (to beannounced).
There’s direct flights from Chicago to Rio, so this is a great opportunity to connect with our fellow sister party in the US, while already being in the Americas for the IYDU meeting.
